Gastrovino 2025

Gastrovino Food & Wine Festival, Todos SantosBack to the Origin
This December 5th to 7th, GastroVino returns home to the Plaza Pública in Todos Santos. We are going back to our origins, and we couldn’t be more excited to share this year’s festival with you.

What began as the spark of a couple of visionaries, lovers of Mexican wine and fierce believers in the magic of this pueblo, has grown into a celebration that now belongs to everyone. What started small has become woven into the spirit of Todos Santos itself, a luminous gathering of taste, sound, color, and welcome.

This festival is for everyone. Winemakers pour straight from their bottles, chefs craft dishes imbued with their signature touch, musicians fill the air with rhythm, and the people of this town, from artists to artisans, all come together.

During GastroVino, magical things happen. The encounters that unfold here are never mere coincidences. They nurture bonds that blossom into friendships, collaborations, and new possibilities. Doors open, projects are born, and with every clink of a glass, the spirit of this pueblo grows stronger.

In the end, it all circles back to GastroVino. Because it is thanks to this festival that we gather, we celebrate, and now, returning to our origin, we remember why it all began.

Three Days That Tell a Story
Friday, December 5, 12 pm
Blind Tasting at Viñedo Las Tinajas
We begin where wine meets Todos Santos’ palm orchards kissed by the Pacific breeze. At Viñedo Las Tinajas, now a cornerstone of the town’s growing wine culture, enologist Paul Magot and his team will host an intimate blind tasting, strictly limited in capacity.
This is no ordinary tasting. It is playful, immersive, and full of discoveries. Let your senses guide you, test your memory, and reveal surprises with every sip. Whether you are an expert, an enthusiast, or simply a lover of fine wine, you will gain new insights, new appreciation, and a deeper connection to the spirit of GastroVino.
Tickets are $2,000 MXN, Limited seating.

Saturday, December 6, 4 – 8 pm
The GastroTour
Downtown Todos Santos transforms into a moving feast. Check-in is at The Co-Op Baja / Hablando Mexicano, where each guest receives a petite, specially designed tasting glass ready for the journey ahead, along with the official GastroVino bracelet.

Sixteen curated stops throughout the heart of the Pueblo Mágico include restaurants, galleries, wine bars, cafés, and food stands, each hosting a GastroVino winemaker. At every stop, guests enjoy a tasting pour from the winery paired with a culinary creation prepared in each location, showcasing the best of their menus. It is a delicious way to discover new flavors, meet the people behind them, and explore the vibrant scene of Todos Santos, all within walking distance.

Expert local guides will be on hand for those who wish to join a guided GastroTour, while others may simply wander freely and let serendipity lead the way.

When the tastings wind down, the night continues at the official After Party at DŪM. It will be a celebration of wine, music, and mixology with live DJ sets and crafted cocktails. Entry is complimentary with your GastroTour ticket, the perfect way to toast, dance, and linger long into the night.

Tickets are $1,500 MXN and include petite tasting glass, map, and GastroVino bracelet, wine samples, and tastings. After Party access included.

Sunday, December 7, 1 – 5 pm
The Big Day in the Plaza Pública
Sunday is our open-sky celebration. More than twenty-two wineries will be pouring, and close to twenty restaurants and food trucks will offer bite-sized masterpieces.

Your ticket includes the emblematic GastroVino wine glass, the official bracelet granting free access to that evening’s after-party, tastings from every participating winery, and culinary samplings from a curated selection of restaurants. Beyond these tastings, additional wine and food will also be available to savor and purchase, ensuring that no craving goes unanswered.

Music carries the day with live performances by both local talents and nationally recognized artists. Each set is carefully curated to complement the mood and elevate the experience. The plaza becomes a stage, the pueblo a celebration, and every toast a reminder of why GastroVino has become such a beloved tradition.

Following the Main Festival, which concludes at 5 pm, the official After Party will take place at the iconic Sky Lounge of the Hotel Guaycura. This is our final toast, the perfect way to close the festival with style, tradition, and a touch of magic.
Tickets are $1,800 MXN and include the iconic GastroVino wine glass, GastroVino bracelet with access to the After Party, tastings from all participating wineries, and culinary samplings,

The Silent Auction: A Celebration that Gives Back
The Silent Auction has become one of GastroVino’s most meaningful traditions, a celebration of generosity and community spirit. Each year, we choose a cause that touches the heart of Todos Santos, and this year, every peso raised will go directly to the Bomberos of Todos Santos and Pescadero.

These volunteer firefighters are the true guardians of our pueblo. They answer the call when fires threaten our town, when floods strike without warning, or when danger comes in the night. With courage and sacrifice, they protect not only our homes but the very soul of this community.

On Sunday, December 7, during the Main Festival in the Plaza Pública, all are invited to take part in the Silent Auction. Every bid is more than a gesture, it is a way of honoring these everyday heroes and ensuring they have the support needed to continue their vital work. Together we can raise our glasses in gratitude, knowing that celebration can also mean giving back.

Who’s Pouring
At the heart of GastroVino lies the soul of its winemakers. It is they, the visionaries and artisans, who travel to Todos Santos from near and far to pour their wines and share them in their own words. This is what makes the Festival intimate and unforgettable: every glass comes with a story, every pour with a voice.

This year, we welcome the vineyards that shape the essence of Mexican wine: Vinícola Decantos, Desert Wine 5, Shilmul, 8/27, Vinícola En Petit, Xecué, Vinícola Hacienda Guadalupe, Vinos Cruz, Vinícola Totol, Henri Lurton, Vinícola Clos de Tres Cantos, Cava Maciel, Bruma, Solar Fortún, Finca Empecinado, Vena Cava, Viñedo Las Tinajas, Vinícola Total, Vinos Plata, Vinícola La Nuestra, Casa Caamal, Vinos Misión, Vinícola El Cinco, Vinaltura, and Vinícola Las Flores BCS. Each winery brings bottles that are more than wine. They are landscapes, memories, and passion, sealed with care and waiting to be shared at GastroVino.

And as wine finds its perfect partner in food, so too does GastroVino. Around twenty kitchens and food trucks from Todos Santos, La Paz, El Triunfo, Cabo San Lucas, and San José del Cabo will join us, serving dishes crafted with the freshest local ingredients from our seas and soil. Expect the trusted names you love, alongside bold new chefs ready to surprise you. All are united by the same mission: to honor the flavors and richness of our region.

Together they form the living tapestry of GastroVino, a Festival not just to taste, but to discover, connect, and celebrate.

Tickets are available online at: www.gastrovino.mx.

When planning a visit, we ask that you practice social distancing and that you follow state health and CDC guidelines for distancing, gatherings, and travel.

Our beach community is full of family-run businesses that do need our support to get through these times. Precautions are being made throughout the country and Baja California Sur.

Bars, restaurants, and health food stores are offering curbside service or delivery of their meals and products. Please do take advantage of their take-out and delivery services and shop our stores online if possible.

Hotels and other accommodations are taking precautions for guest safety. Please reach out to them directly to learn about what they are doing for guests during this time. If feasible, please refrain from canceling your vacation reservation outright or asking for a refund, instead consider going on standby for when they do reopen for business or reschedule. The livelihood of our community depends on supporting our local businesses as they navigate these uncharted waters.

If we all work together to support our friends and neighbors, we will get through this difficult time and return to enjoying everything that our surrounding area has to offer.
